Welcome to Folklore Radio!

This is the brand new radio show dedicated to broadcasting 100% Australian music. The aim of the show is to provide a platform for any artist here in Australia, no matter what level, a place to have their music heard. Too many radio stations seem to overlook the incredible music being created in this country. Some stations allocate a small percentage to local artists but the vast majority are simply not given any airplay. Well, not anymore…

A CALL TO AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS!!!

I want to feature as many new artists as possible on Folklore Radio, so if you’re interested in having your music aired, all you have to do is get in touch and send me your music (along with a short bio and pic if possible). The only stipulation is that the song must be original.

Send through your music to peter@scudleyrecords.com

For those of you who aren’t fortunate enough to have good quality recording equipment, don’t worry. One of the segments I have created is called “Open Mic” which gives artists who only have live recordings (either at a gig or at home) a chance to have their music played on the show. So, no matter what the recording quality, there will be a place for you on Folklore Radio.
THIS WEEK’S PLAYLIST:

1. A golden glove humility – Minute 36
2. Touch the Ground – The Renzullo Project
3. Blister sister – Arons Crusade
4. Back broken blues – Cody Osborne
5. Altercation in the Parkinglot – Terri Marie
6. Where are you – Elenor Lupretz
7. Counterpoint – Mis Divine
8. As we travel -Mis Divine
9. You and me – Daniel Beach
10. Refugee – Daniel Beach
11. Golden days – Lucy Peach
12. Follow me down – Lynda Smyth & the Borrowed Few
13. Little boy – Helen Shanahan
14. Angzo (LIVE) – Anto Smyth
15. A torn out page from a boring book – Minute 36
That’s the show for the week. Hope to see you next time!

Well, not anymore...

A CALL TO AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS!!!

I want to feature as many new artists as possible on Folklore Radio, so if you're interested in having your music aired, all you have to do is get in touch and send me your music (along with a short bio and pic if possible). The only stipulation is that the song must be original.

Send through your music to peter@scudleyrecords.com

For those of you who aren't fortunate enough to have good quality recording equipment, don't worry. One of the segments I have created is called "Open Mic" which gives artists who only have live recordings (either at a gig or at home) a chance to have their music played on the show. So, no matter what the recording quality, there will be a place for you on Folklore Radio.
THIS WEEK'S PLAYLIST:

1. A golden glove humility - Minute 36
2. Touch the Ground - The Renzullo Project
