Siobny
One of the most impressive voices I’ve come across in recent years has belonged to Siobny. This singer-songwriter has a very eclectic sound ranging from powerful, soaring vocals through to gentle, heartbreaking laments. Her style of songwriting is very vocal-driven, giving the listener a true story telling experience. Her instrumentation is such that it can be performed only on acoustic guitar and vocals, or full production with strings, drums, electric guitar and harmonies – both of which never take away from the rich vocals that tie the whole lot together.
Scudley Records had the fortune of not only recording Siobny’s debut album “A Million Stairs”, but also features on it as a performer. Peter Renzullo (Producer/Owner of Scudley Records) performs backing on the album, with the exception of “Questions”.
