MisDivine is an emerging artist with an incredibly large body of work.  She has enough material for 35 albums and has one of the most unique, engaging voices I’ve heard in a long time.  She has set herself a task of writing, performing, producing and releasing a song each day for 400 days.  400 DAYS!  Just amazing.  I feature two of her songs in this episode, and will be featuring more in the near future.  Here are all the important links to MisDivine’s pages:

Next up, from Scotland…

THE DEADLY WINTERS – This is a band I want to hear more from.  Some artists come my way and I just think F$%#! this is amazing!  They just seem to own the space they fill.  Every song has something unique about it, no matter what style it’s in, just jumps out to you as being something special.  Their new single “The Deadly Winter” is a true testament to this claim (Just incase you need a case and point)  Here’s a little promo for the lads:

The Deadly Winters released their debut album in April 2011 and tracks received play on BBC Radio 1’s Introducing in Scotland, Jim Gellatly’s Weekly Podcast, Amazing Radio, Get Ready To Rock Radio, Gill Mills New Music Matters and numerous internet stations and Podcasts.  With their new single “The Deadly Winter” officially being released on December the 5th, you’ll be able to get a sneak peak at it on Recharge Radio’s “Close to Nowhere” show every thursday night from 7pm.  “This is one track that will be on regular rotation.”

Next up… HAILMARY!!

These guys call Perth, Western Australia home.  (Currently in the USA, but on their way back soon)  And as I say in the show, one word can describe this band – ENERGY.  They deliver such a strong, tight sound.  The song featured is a very good example of the band’s abilities not only as performers but as song-writers.  Such a great feel and presence.  Here’s some links to their pages:
