Welcome to a very special episode of Close to Nowhere this week. It’s been a VERY long time since my last post but I’m back on track and excited to get things moving again. Big things have been happening with Recharged Radio lately, the biggest is that we’re now running 24/7! We’ve also effectively doubled our listenership in a year so the future is looking very promising indeed.
This episode I have local artist Michael Anagno in the studio to discuss his new album “Early Days”. Michael is the man behind INNER SECOND and shares his insights into creating the music for the album, both as a writer and performer off all the music. His unique ability to meld styles shines through on this release. You’ll jump from a heavy driven song straight into a cool, funky groove without blinking, it all fits in such a flawless way.
His use of various vocalists turns this album into almost a compilation of amazing talent – but behind it all is one man. I’ve had the pleasure of recording Michael’s album so I’m excited to pick his brain about where it all came from. Listen in and you’ll get the inside information from the man himself.
