Scudley Sessions – Bakia Arslanoski

This is the latest episode of the ‘Scudley Sessions’ hosted by Peter Renzullo.  This show is dedicated to bringing you the grass roots music of Perth, Western Australia – the most isolated city in the world.

  • Local Perth artist Bakia Arslanoski comes in for a chat about her music and to perform 4 songs:

1. When you sing
2. Because of him
3. So soon
4. All is possible

Bakia has something very special to offer the world.  Her music is incredibly dynamic, ranging from gentle love songs such as “I know you’ll come home” which was featured on Folklore and has been broadcast through ‘Close to Nowhere’ right through to very energetic guitar driven songs.  But they all share a common thread, a special tie which brings them all together into one unified sound – but I just don’t know how to describe it, it’s so unique.  Bakia’s instrumentation is one thing, but her voice is quite another.  You don’t get many artists who can sing the way Bakia does, totally focused on her message and lead by her faith in God, Bakia Arslanoski has a unique gift which is sure to bring the most complex of feelings into a clear light for all to witness
