Episode Three – Scudley Sessions LIVE

 First and foremost, a huge apology for the hiatus last week.  I was over East visiting family in Canberra, Australia’s capital city.  And for any of you who have been unfortunate enough to experience flight delays you’ll understand what I was going through sitting in the airport watching the back of an empty seat in front of me, wishing I was anywhere else in the world.  And to realize that after this huge delay, there was still nice long 5 hour flight waiting for me, YAY!

 Anyway, I appreciate all of my listeners out there taking the time to check out the last show, and for being patient and understanding about last week’s hiccup.  But I’ve packed this show with heaps of goodies!  We have a winner of the Madman’s Mandolin Medley, and it was Ciaran Sheilds from Ireland who got both songs from the last show’s medley – Chris Isaak’s Wicked Games, and The Eagles Hotel California.  Well done Ciaran, and of course that means that you got to choose this week’s two songs to be made into a medley – and I must say, good choices!  So check it out guys, see if you can be the first one through to guess the songs, and write in with your answers AND two songs you want made into a medley to madmansmandolin@hotmail.com

 This week we had a sneak peak into Folklore 2, with Terri Eggie’s song Come again.  The album is currently under production and will be released later this year, so I’ll keep you updated on that!

 In this show I also announced that the Scudley Sessions which air on the Justin Wayne Show is taking to the stage in Fremantle!  It will be held on the 17^th of July at the Swan Basement.  But never fear if you aren’t in Perth, I’ll be filming the event and putting it up on the Scudley Records YouTube channel for you all to enjoy (Well, fingers crossed the footage works out, I’ve been burnt before…) so you won’t miss a moment!
